All right this is gonna be some tough love. The first thing you should know is that you are N-O-T going to get along with everyone. This may even include your roommate! A lot of people dream of the perfect roommate where you two will always be hanging out and chillin with each other but just because you dream about it doesn't mean it's going to happen. Now I'm not saying that your roommate won't like you I'm just saying don't be upset if it doesn't work out.There are a few things you should do with your roommate no matter what. Set some ground rules. Don't let them trample all over you and don't trample all over them. Something many roommates do is they will write up a contract for the room. Such as we won't have guys over during such times, we won't eat each other's food, no loud music past such times, and will keep our areas tidy. Those are just some examples but they do show up in a lot of roommates contracts.Now here is going to be the most important thing I post about roommates. If you and your roommate do not get along doesn't mean you can just change rooms. Alot of colleges will tell you to stick it out till at least mid semester. Alot of College students give up before they even try. So try to make the best of a tough situation even though it's not the most ideal.-TILL NEXT TIME!
